A Progressive Bingo Game is a separately licensed bingo game that is played in conjunction with successive licensed regular bingo events. If the progressive prize is not won at one event, it is added to the amount of the prize to be awarded at the next Progressive Bingo Game played in the bingo hall. The progressive prize is allowed to increase at each successive event until the specified limit is reached or until the progressive game is won.

- The OLG’s planned Ontario Bingo Modernization – otherwise called cGaming –has exclusively been offered to 37 bingo halls province-wide, ignoring and thus excluding Princess Bingo as well as nine other bingo halls from this industry-saving initiative. - Hamilton's last bingo hall says it will close within a year unless the city supports a plan to expand into electronic gaming. Princess Bingo is seeking provincial permission to add electronic bingo.
Only the Registrar may issue a licence for a Progressive Bingo Game event.

- List of participating charities within the Bingo Hall, which must be signed by a representative from each charity
- Municipal approval letter (if applicable)
- Copy of bingo game schedule
- The licensee must conduct and manage the event in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the licence.
